Staking APY Updated — Up to 150%
The biggest update in v2.3 is our completely revamped staking reward structure. We've introduced a SUM-based APY model that combines duration-based rewards with validator amount boosts — unlocking up to 150% APY for top-tier validators.
Duration-Based APY (Base Rate)
Every staker earns a base APY determined by their lock-up period:

Validator Amount Boost (Added on Top)
Validators who stake larger amounts earn an additional boost on top of the duration APY:

Example: A validator staking 500,000 TKS for 365 days earns 35% (duration) + 50% (amount boost) = 85% APY.
The maximum possible APY is 150% — achieved by staking 2,000,000 TKS for a full year (35% base + 115% validator boost).
